As we move into our 50s & 60s we generally discover that we are not bullet proofand cannot continue to expect good health, irrespective of how we treat our bodies.

When you think about it, if you have spent years saving towards a comfortable retirement, it makes sense to do what you can to maintain your health, so that you can enjoy the lifestyle you've saved for. Sensible eating habits and regular exercise can go a long way towards achieving this goal.

Before you start training for marathons, or sign up for a gym program, it would be wise to read the article titled "Exercise" in the column to the right.
