This organisation is an independent national organisation built on the strengths of two seniors groups. Australian Retired Persons Association (APRA) (in most states), established int he 1970's and Over Fifties Focus which began in 1995. Its objectives are to assist people to plan for and achieve a fulfiling retirement, to enhance the quality of life of older persons and to promote their dignity, rights and status.
